Data on your device
Projects are stored in the browser or app storage on your device. Before you sign in, SolarPD does not send projects anywhere.
Account data
When you create an account, SolarPD stores your email, display name (if given), language and a hash of your password. SolarPD never stores the password itself.
Cloud sync
When you sign in and verify your email, copies of your projects are stored on SolarPD's servers to sync across devices.
Cookies and sessions
On the web SolarPD uses only one necessary sign-in cookie (HttpOnly). No advertising or tracking cookies.
Deleting data
You can delete your account in the app. After a 15-day wait, the account and its cloud project copies are deleted for good.
Infrastructure providers
At release SolarPD plans to run on Cloudflare infrastructure. The list of providers will be updated before release.
